Cooking Class Information:  The 411

Chef Terri's South San Francisco classes are held in the Large Kitchen of the Municipal Services Building:

Registration:

What to Bring:
  • An apron
  • Class Materials Fee (cash, credit card or check) 
  • A medium-sized food storage container/tupperware for taking home samples!

Class will Provide:
  • Recipes, equipment and ingredients for all dishes to be prepared in class
  • Tasting samples
  • A fun, instructive evening 

Other Information:
  • Adult Classes are open to persons 15 years of age or older. Teen classes are open to teenagers 12 - 15 years of age.  
  • Not a resident of South San Francisco? Not a problem!  The class fee for non-residents is $33.  SSF residents pay only $18.  
  • Classes are open to the public, based on registration and are first-come-first-served.  Chef Terri cannot take your registration and hold a place for you.  All registration for classes is handled through the SSF Department of Parks and Recreation.   • During class, there may be times when students will be standing at tables preparing the recipes for up to an hour at a time.  Chairs are provided if you need to rest.  We advise that you wear comfortable clothing, long sleeves, minimal jewelry and sturdy comfortable shoes (no sandals or flip-flops please!). Please leave your valuables at home.  
  • Parking is available in the underground parking garage located beneath the Municipal Services Building on Arroyo Drive. Other events and classes may be taking place on the same night as class, so parking may be limited.  There is also street-parking on Arroyo Drive and on residential streets in the vicinity.
